Mo Farah cements legendary status with yet another gold medal #London2017

Mo Farah completed a Perfect 10 in front of an ecstatic sell-out crowd at the London Stadium.

Victory in the World Championship 10,000 metres brought him an incredible 10th successive global gold medal.

And it left the rest of the world praying he keeps his word and hangs up his track spikes a week today.

Farah, 34, insisted his finishing speed would deliver him a sixth career world gold and he was true to his word.

After withstanding a series of powerful African surges, Britain’s greatest athlete sprinted home to win in 26:49.53 – the fastest of all his golden runs.

It’s gold in the Olympic and world championships now in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017. History.

Farah celebrated with his family with several laps of honour.
