Diego Costa sends message to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte

Former Chelsea player Diego Costa has spoken about his exit from Chelsea, and claimed that despite the huge amount of chaos surrounding it, he is in no way bitter towards the club.

He also made it clear just how much he loves the fans, and made it obvious that while manager Antonio Conte did not handle his exit in the best way, he has no issues with him and thinks that everything is fine.

The saga of the summer finally ended when Costa agreed terms and Chelsea agreed a fee with Atletico Madrid, and the player is now able to train with the side, yet cannot play for them until he is officially registered in January, when of course their ban ends.

He said to Splash News: “There’s nothing of the sort there, I’m not upset with anybody.

“I have no bitterness towards anyone. Everything is cool.”

“Everybody knows how much I love the fans.”
Big move

It’s the move Costa has wanted for some time – arguably since he came to England, but it seems that not everyone is totally convinced with his replacement just yet.

Morata has done well so far at Chelsea, but Phil Neville thinks that he is still taking time to settle in, and opposition managers would rather be facing Costa than Morata.

The Express report he said: “I would rather have Costa than Morata in my team at this moment in time, to be honest with you.

“I think he is better suited to the English game – Morata has great potential, but if you were an opposition manager, you would rather be facing Morata than Costa.”
